Each clear table protector from ProtectMats is custom-cut to size, ensuring a perfect fit for your specific table shape or dimensions. Please note: our transparent table protector is less suitable for glass, lacquered, glossy, or stone tables. Air bubbles may become visible between the protector and the surface, which can affect the appearance. For such surfaces, we recommend our stylish frosted table protector. The quality seems great, the size is perfect, and delivery was fast with no issues; however, and this is just me, I wish it had more of a mat finish. In the sunlight, its so shiny that from an angle you can't see the wood underneath it. My biggest issue is the smell is horrible. was hoping it would dissipate, but this morning its even worse. Its a skunky plastic smell. I might have to actually remove this from my house. Its a shame because it came as described, but it just is working for me. Being its a custom size, I don't think I would be able to give it to anybody.

Fit is perfect! So thin you almost don’t see it’s there. Does have a slight odd smell to it but hope it goes away soon.

I’ve had the mat for about a week. Shipping was fast. After a few days it flattened out nicely. There were a ton of plastic shavings all over the mat. I assume this is from beveling the edge. It’s a perfect fit to the table.It still smells a bit and I’m having some trouble getting rid of all the cleaning streaks. Other than that, it serves its purpose and will protect the table.
